11/05/2008 Ellie's cat kept sneaking in the house and she came in to get it and take it outside and I hear her say to herself , "I thought I put this damn thing in the garage". (Potty Mouth)
Summer '08 - Ellie doing fuse beads with our friends next door and Julie said, "I'm addicted to fuse beads" and Ellie says, "My grandpa's addicted to alcohol" (thanks Ellie - she shares all our family secrets)
08/05/08 I picked Ellie up from school (her 2nd week) and she'd made this darling Ladybug. She's telling me about making it and says, "so I saw my teachers and it had black lips, so I thought okay I know black lips and then my teacher said, take out your red crayons, and I thought, What in the hell? How am I supposed to make black lips with a red crayon". It was so hilarious!!!!
08/13/08 While laying in bed she yells to me, "Mom, I have a crush on the guy who mows Rita's lawn"
08/12/08 Ellie: "Your in love with dad",
Me: I am, how do you know
Ellie: Because you made us and when moms and dads are in love they make kids"
07/22/08 While lying in bed listening to her stories I walk in and say "Why are you still awake" and she says, "Oh, I'm just laying here enjoying myself".
07/11/08 Me: Oh Ellie your a nut
Ellie: If I'm a nut then why don't you eat me
